About

I’m an AI engineer who got here by solving hard problems for the fun of it. Here’s the short version of who I am and what I’ve built.

How I got into this

Before ChatGPT and all these coding agents, I learned to program purely out of curiosity. I was one of the best PvPers on Old School RuneScape, and I’d mastered hybriding and no-honour tribriding. After a while I got curious about whether I could build a bot that could beat me.

That’s where it started. I taught myself Java and reverse engineering and built my Megatron bot, the BZR bot. I put it into a minigame called Last Man Standing, and it won 266 games in a row without a single loss. People on Reddit and YouTube ended up documenting its run.

Experience

The first thing I did was found my own software company in the gaming space. I’d write custom plugins and scripts for people in an underground marketplace, all in Java and Kotlin. It’s how I supported myself through university, studying full-time without having to work a regular job, and I still maintain it to this day.

After that I spent half a year at a company focused on military defence and drone warfare. Since then I’ve been fully focused on AI. I build AI products, do AI consulting, and embed myself into enterprise companies to help them integrate custom AI solutions into their existing infrastructure and workflows, the kind that delivers real, massive ROI.

What I do now

I’ve covered the entire stack, from backend to frontend to DevOps. I stay up to date with the latest AI tooling and use Codex, Claude Code and Cursor day to day. These days I wear a lot of hats and spend much more of my time client and customer facing rather than purely behind the scenes, though I’m still very much technical. That’s my bread and butter. Solving extremely hard, complex problems is still my passion and my focus.

A lot of that focus now is on system design, integration, and actually deploying into the real world, into production. Building demos and MVPs is cool, but the moment you have to scale, all of that goes out the window. There are a lot more moving parts and a lot more decisions that have to be made.

Things I’ve done over the years

  • Degree in Computer Science, majoring in Artificial Intelligence.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate, issued June 2025. It’s a closed-book exam that tests your cloud fundamentals.
  • Fourth place globally out of 4,500+ participants in the Gen AI Works hackathon, December 2024.
  • First place at a hackathon in San Francisco, December 2025, built around multi-agent AI systems and RAG.
  • Did a podcast sharing my journey into the tech world and how I built my career as an AI engineer.

Outside of code

In my younger years I competed in powerlifting and won both nationals and worlds as a natural. I was also an esports athlete, playing competitive Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2.
